Matty in danger, shock betrayal and heartbreaking exit on Emmerdale next week

Emmerdale spoilers have revealed Matty is left in grave danger next week whilst a heartbreaking exit seems on the cards after a shock betrayal

Emmerdale have teased a shocking betrayal next week – whilst Matty is left in danger.

Matty is currently in prison, accused of being the one who stabbed Samson Dingle, when viewers know that Josh pushed Samson onto the knife that Matty happened to holding during a showdown between the trio.

Next week on the ITV soap, Matty will find himself exposed by his wife Amy, leaving him in danger. After he was finally accepted as a trans man by his cellmate Les, things get worse for Matty when she accidentally lets slip to evil bully Robbo.

Mistaking Robbo for Les, she tells him more about Matty’s life and reveals he is transgender. Horrifyingly, when Les heads to a solicitor appointment, Robbo goes to Matty’s cell and closes in on him when he reveals the truth.

Elsewhere, an exit seems on the cards for Samson Dingle – who is planning to head with Josh on a European trip, much to Moira’s disgust. It sees the families go head to head, but Sam thinks it’s ok if Samson goes, providing that he comes back for the trial. Moira is on a mission to get Samson to stay – but what lengths will she go to?

Lydia is also growing suspicious of if Samson is telling the truth when she spots Josh threatening Samson. Moira and Lydia meet up – but can they both save Matty from jail and reveal the truth of what is really going on?

There’s chaos at the Tate household

Nate makes an appearance next week ahead of a rumoured exit from the show. When Dawn loses her trust in Billy, he heads out to have a drink with Nate – whilst Kim covers for Billy. Worried about his lack of social distancing for the sake of his son, things take a turn when Evan is rushed into hospital but Kim takes the blame. Will Evan be ok?

There is also a desperate hope for Nicky to make his return, but Ruby insists they need to let their son go. Ruby narrows in on her target as she continues her plan to bring Kim down, but it looks like Rose is having second thoughts.
