Emmerdale enthusiasts might be left wondering if a character comeback is on the horizon, following the latest spoiler revelations.

Debbie Dingle’s name pops up in next week’s episodes during a planned reunion with her niece Belle Dingle.

Given recent fan speculation that Cain Dingle’s daughter might return to the village, she could potentially provide support for Belle during her tumultuous marriage to Tom King.

Next week’s storyline takes a chilling turn as Belle decides to escape the village and Tom. After a heart-to-heart with her Mental Health Care Coordinator, Rachel, Belle finally acknowledges the severity of Tom’s abusive behaviour.

Rachel advises Belle to take a break from Tom, seemingly recognising the extent of his manipulative actions. As Tom’s deeds are likely to be exposed, Belle concludes that her best option is to pack her bags and head to Scotland to visit Debbie, reports the Mirror.

However, an unexpected twist involving Tom’s potential demise could halt her plans. If Belle reconsiders her decision, it could prompt Debbie to visit the village to check on her, or perhaps the mere mention of her name suggests that Debbie might be making a comeback?

Actress Charley Webb has stepped away from the role in recent years, but Debbie’s name still frequently comes up in the show, especially since her daughter Sarah Sugden resides with Debbie’s mother, Charity Dingle. Could the Dingle family drama finally trigger Debbie’s return?

In another storyline, Tom discovers the truth about Belle’s abortion and his anger spirals out of control. He starts to violently swing an iron bar around a barn, but his rage leads him into serious danger.

Belle is set to tell Tom that she has miscarried, when in reality she has had an abortion. It’s been clear to viewers that Tom has been abusing Belle for months, using coercive control and manipulation before becoming physically violent.

Belle became pregnant and didn’t want to continue with the pregnancy, but Tom was pressuring her to keep the baby while further isolating her. When he finds out next week that Belle visited an abortion clinic, he begins to destroy his surroundings with an iron bar.

However, as he takes one final swing, the metal bar hits the barn’s rotary isolator behind him, electrocuting Tom. He’s thrown against a beam and falls to the ground, appearing lifeless – but could this be the end of Tom?
